📌 In Development at CinemaMachina

At CinemaMachina, we’re pioneering the future of filmmaking—where AI tools enhance human storytelling to create films that feel both innovative and deeply personal.

This page showcases our current projects in development, each in the process of refinement as we experiment with AI-generated visuals, narration, and cinematic storytelling. These are the rough drafts of tomorrow’s films, offering a glimpse into our creative process before their final form.

🎬 Projects Currently In Development

📍 A Shabbat Story: The Candles Burn Out (Rough Cut Screening)

A deeply emotional reflection on family, time, and change, told through the lens of Friday night dinners across a lifetime. As one man ages from his 20s to his 70s, the faces around the table change—children grow, parents age, and tradition becomes memory.

📍 The Cusser Club (AI Film Adaptation)

Based on the coming-of-age novel by Randall “Roy” Northcutt, this film follows three teenage outcasts in a 1960s Texas quarry town. After rescuing a Catholic schoolgirl from an abusive home, they form “The Cusser Club”—a secret hideout that pulls them into treasure hunting, first love, and a dangerous web of revenge and self-discovery.

📍 A Hidden Village of African Giants (AI Film Adaptation)

Inspired by Marcus Smith’s novel, this story follows a wildlife photographer shipwrecked off the Somali coast, where she stumbles upon a hidden village of African giants, untouched by modern civilization. As she navigates this secret world, she faces a choice—exploit the discovery or protect a people forgotten by time.

📍 The Antiheroes: Treatise of a Lost Soul (AI Film Adaptation)

A haunting exploration of 1990s Detroit’s underground, based on Sulfaro’s posthumously published cult classic. Following a group of rogue Goths led by the enigmatic Fade, this story blends philosophy, rebellion, and existential angst, capturing the blurred lines between reality and illusion in a city that feels alive with mystery.

🚀 The Future of AI Filmmaking

These projects are works in progress, evolving as we refine AI-driven visuals, voiceovers, and cinematic techniques. By blending technology with storytelling, we aim to create films that feel as emotionally powerful as traditional cinema—but with the speed and adaptability of AI.
